Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how textfontlab.com ("we", "us" or "the site") handles information when you use our free text tools. By using the site you agree to this policy.
1. Text you enter stays on your device
All tools on textfontlab.com, including the fancy text generator, word counter, character counter and case converter, run entirely in your web browser. The text you type or paste is not sent to our servers, is not stored by us and is not shared with anyone.
2. Information stored in your browser
To make the site more convenient, we save a short list of your favorite styles and recently used styles in your browser's local storage. This information never leaves your device and does not identify you. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
3. Log and usage data
Like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics tools may automatically receive technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed and the date and time of the visit. We use this information only to keep the site secure, fix problems and understand which pages are useful. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
4. Analytics
We may use privacy-focused analytics to measure traffic in aggregate. These tools report totals such as visits and popular pages and do not build personal profiles.
5. Cookies and advertising
We may display ads on this site through Google AdSense and other advertising partners. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the site or ads may then work differently.
Where required by law, such as in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we will ask for your consent before using cookies for personalized advertising.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal data we hold about you, to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we do not collect accounts or store the text you enter, we hold very little personal data. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
7. Your rights (California, CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Advertising partners may collect information through cookies as described above, and you can opt out using the links in section 5.
8. Third-party websites
The site may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
9. Children's privacy
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
10. Data security
The site is served over HTTPS. Since your text is processed locally in your browser, it is not exposed to our servers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Please check this page periodically.
